Our approach

Health care that speaks your language

Men's health concerns are often left unspoken for too long. Our clinic provides a respectful, judgement-free space where every issue — clinical or sensitive — is addressed with expertise and discretion.

01

Preventive care and early detection

Many of the conditions that affect men most seriously are highly treatable when caught early. Prostate disease, cardiovascular risk and metabolic conditions all benefit from proactive monitoring.

Regular health checks — PSA testing, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and pre-employment assessments — give us the data to act before symptoms appear. Prevention is not passive; it's the most important thing we do for men's long-term health.

Detected early, managed well.

02

Sensitive issues, handled with care

Erectile dysfunction, hair loss and mental health concerns are among the most common issues men face — and among the least discussed. Our GPs are experienced, discreet and direct.

We approach every sensitive issue with the same clinical rigour as any other health concern. Whether it's hormonal imbalance, sexual health, impotence or depression, we'll assess thoroughly, explain clearly and work with you toward the best outcome — without judgement and without delay.

No issue too sensitive to discuss.

Frequently asked

Men's health, answered plainly

Common questions our men's health GPs hear from patients across the Gold Coast.

At what age should I start getting prostate checks?

Generally from age 50, or from age 40–45 if you have a family history of prostate cancer. A PSA blood test is straightforward and can identify concerns well before symptoms develop. We'll discuss the benefits and limitations of screening at your appointment.

Is erectile dysfunction a normal part of ageing?

It becomes more common with age, but it's not inevitable — and it's often treatable. In many cases it's linked to underlying conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes or hormonal changes. A proper assessment lets us address both the symptom and its cause.

How do I know if my testosterone is low?

Common signs include fatigue, reduced libido, mood changes, difficulty concentrating and reduced muscle mass. A simple blood test measures your testosterone levels — if they're outside the normal range, we'll work through the options with you.

I'm struggling with my mental health but find it hard to talk about — can you help?

Yes. Our GPs are experienced at having these conversations without pressure or judgement. You can start as simply as saying "I haven't been feeling right." We'll take it from there — whether that means a mental health care plan, medication, referral or just a listening ear.

What does a pre-employment health check involve?

It typically includes a physical examination, vision and hearing assessment, blood pressure, urine screen and a review of your medical history. The exact scope depends on your employer's requirements — bring any paperwork they've provided and we'll work through it with you.
